Planetary Hours

Every hour of the day from sunrise to sunset and from sunset to sunrise is controlled by a particular planet as you will see on the top chart and each days 1st planetary hour begins with the corresponding planet to that day, for example sunday starts with the sun and monday starts with the moon etc etc. Planetary hours dont work in the same way as we record the hours in our day for more information on this subject please watch MY YouTube video titled planetary hours.

Natal/Birth Charts

Natal/Birth charts are a figure of the heavens at the exact time of an individuals birth and this is what an astrologer uses to work out your personality, life events, ideal career etc etc the possibilities are truly endless.

Here is an example of a natal chart, as you can see all the different planets etc are in different houses and signs and make different aspects to each other (green, red and blue lines marked with triangles and squares etc in the middle of the chart) and all this information is decoded by an astrologer, look at learning how to read natal charts like learning how to read a new language, once you know what all these symbols etc mean and how they work in relation to each other you will begin to be able to read natal charts.

Names of the Symbols

The chart to your left will show the names of all the 12 zodiac sign symbols and the names of the planet symbol that rules that particular zodiac sign as each zodiac sign has a particular planet that is considered the ruler of it because the planets energy's and quality's best harmonise with that sign.

Aspects

The chart to your left shows you the 5 main aspects you will come across in astrology, their symbols and how many degrees apart 2 planets must be to form that particular aspect, now a trine and a sextile are considered positive aspects and a square and opposition are considered negative and a conjunction is considered neutral.

Planetary Relationships

The chart to your left shows you which planets are considered friends, enemies or neutral to each planet, keep this in mind when reading charts as its a key piece of information to go by.

The 4 Cardinal Points and House Positions

The chart to your left shows the fixed locations of the 12 houses of a chart and apart from these houses there are 4 special cardinal points which are the ascendant which is marked on the chart directly opposite the ascendant is the descendant, and located in between the tenth and the ninth houses is the mid-heaven and directly below and opposite that is the imum coeli (although depending on which house system you use the mid- heaven and imum coeli may shift from this position)

The Zodiac and the Body

The chart to your left shows you the link between body parts and the particular zodiac sign which they are governed by from Aries ruling the head all the way down to Pisces ruling the feet.
